Delivery Driver (Evenings)
The Seattle Times, the region's leading source for thoughtful, independent, and relevant news, is seeking an overnight Delivery Driver to join our Bothell print facility team. Our Pulitzer Prize-winning team relies on the work and dedication of our delivery team, which ensures our readers have early access to print news that is conveniently available every single morning.
Delivery Drivers (fondly referred to in the company as a “Single-Copy” Driver) successfully deliver multiple newspaper products in a company-supplied van to retail outlets, as well as schools, vending machines, hotels, and more (not to individual homes).
Pay starts at $16.10 per hour for new employees.

Schedule
The standard Delivery Driver shift is 12:00 a.m. (midnight) to 9:00 a.m. Please note this role requires employees to regularly work nights and weekends, in addition to some holidays. Shifts range from Monday to Sunday. Full-time role (35 to 40 hours per week). Overtime options available!
Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- High school diploma (or equivalent).
- Must have clean driving record over the last three years, with no at-fault accidents. Must be able/willing to provide driving abstract.
- Valid Washington State Driver’s license.
- Strong math skills (tested at time of interview).
- Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers and vendors.
- Able to lift, load, and unload 30-pound newspaper bundles.
Please note: applicants must be able to pass a controlled substances drug screen (including marijuana) and physical capacities test after an offer is given. In addition, employees will be required to join a union and pay union dues as mandated in the Collective Bargaining Agreement.
