Job Summary:

The Director Marketing and Engagement is responsible for generating and maintaining a strong client base by leading, marketing, communication and engagement initiatives, and attracting and nurturing a portfolio of clients for TCU Neeley Executive Education.

Duties & Essential Job Functions:

1. Provides responsibility for marketing and communication by applying imagination and analytical skills and creative instincts to promote TCU Neeley Executive Education programs and increase market visibility for internal and external audiences. Develops a strategic approach to manage/execute TCU Neeley Executive Education marketing initiatives (e.g. website, social media, brochures, email campaigns, webinars, promotional efforts, etc.). Continually identify opportunities to integrate the TCU Neeley Executive Education into other visible Neeley or TCU events/campaigns.
2. Collaborates with key internal TCU/Neeley departments and centers to promote objectives of the TCU Neeley Executive Education, and to maintain the quality and consistency of the Neeley School and TCU Neeley Executive Education brands.
3. Increases awareness of the TCU Neeley Executive Education among senior leaders by recommending short and long-term growth goals and marketing plans/initiatives to Executive Director.
4. Leads the implementation of marketing initiatives that elevate the TCU Neeley Executive Education position via effective articulation of its desired image with its target audiences.
5. Creates favorable awareness of the TCU Neeley Executive Education strategic direction.
6. Drives participation in it programs.
7. Attracts a portfolio of targeted clients by serving as first point of contact for prospective clients and later in a relationship maintenance role, with account service support as appropriate.
8. Develops new business proposals in collaboration with the Executive Director and Director of Executive Program Development Engage in proactive prospect, lead generation and closing sales.
9. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Education & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in business, communications, marketing or a related field.
• 3 plus years' experience in a higher education or corporate environment supporting communication and marketing and client development.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Knowledge of strong interpersonal skills and a highly capable communicator, with an eye for design.
• Knowledge at networking in executive settings and developing strategic relationships.
• Skill in the use of Microsoft Office to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint and outlook.
• Skill in marketing and consultative selling.
• Ability to translate client needs into a well-structured, clearly written proposal.
• Ability to design creative solutions across multiple platforms to reach new clients and maintain existing relationships.
• Ability to comfortably facilitating discussion with both internal and external stakeholders.

Physical Requirements (With or Without Accommodations):

• Visual acuity to read information from computer screens, forms and other printed materials and information.
• Able to speak (enunciate) clearly in conversation and general communication.
• Hearing ability for verbal communication/conversation/responses via telephone, telephone systems, and face-to-face interactions.
• Manual dexterity for typing, writing, standing and reaching, flexibility, body movement for bending, crouching, walking, kneeling and prolonged sitting.
• Lifting and moving objects and equipment up to 10 lbs.

Work Environment:

• Work is indoors and sedentary and is subject to schedule changes and/or variable work hours.
• This role is an on campus, in-person position.
