Administrative Assistant

 

Resurrection House Inc. has a part-time job opportunity for an Administrative Assistant.  The Administrative Assistant reports to the Executive Director and works closely with the agency accountant as well as the Resurrection House Inc. staff.

Resurrection House is a not-for-profit organization that provides emergency shelter services to Single Males and appropriate transitional housing for homeless women and children. We operate a shelter that supports six males in an emergency shelter setting and 13 families in transitional affordable housing.

 

Responsibilities

  • Perform bookkeeping duties – must be proficient in QuickBooks
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive and accurate records
  • Order office supplies and research new suppliers to ensure the best pricing
  • Prepare and maintain personnel files, payroll data along with time accrual for each employee, submit payroll through ADP
  • Update and maintain office policies and procedures
  • Other duties as assigned.

Skills

  • Proficiency in QuickBooks, MS Office
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task

 

 

Hours – 20 per week – can be a flexible schedule – must work on a Friday for payroll

Salary - $25/hour
