We identify, evaluate, and acquire U.S.-based cannabis operations within each state in order to vertically integrate, produce, and distribute medical grade cannabis formulations in the United States offering patients and customers premium, high-grade cannabis and related products.

THE OPPORTUNITY

The Fertigation/IPM supervisor is responsible for directing irrigation and integrated pest management tasks while also overseeing employees on their assigned shift.

GENERAL JOB DUTIES

  • Applies irrigation and fertilizers in accordance with company policy and application schedule.
  • Performs regular quality assessments in all growth areas for signs of disease and/or infestation, and records data in master record.
  • Adheres to a rigorous schedule ensuring actions are done accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Performs walks of all cultivation spaces daily to identify any out of normal conditions and identifies and implements solutions for those conditions.
  • Leads and directs cultivation staff members during weekend periods; communicates any significant out of normal conditions to the appropriate Cultivation Manager or Director of Cultivation.
  • Labels plants and ensures that an accurate inventory, is maintained at all times.
  • Records all activities in state mandated computer system.
  • Assists in harvesting plant material on schedule including drying and de-stemming.
  • Maintains the cleanliness of all assigned areas.
  • Assists in scouting for pests, disease, or contaminates in the crop and assists in building an IPM schedule to combat any issues presented.
  • Reports any event or condition that might affect plant growth and development to the Fertigation/IPM Manager or Director of Cultivation.
  • Responsible for light to medium maintenance of growing systems including pipes, pumps, lights, and HVAC.
  • Responsible for application of nutrients as well as recording of application as determined by the Fertigation/IPM Manager or Director of Cultivation.
  • Maintains Synopta and Fertigation equipment as to ensure equipment is running smoothly and effectively, reports all issues or broken equipment immediately to Cultivation Manager or Director of Cultivation.
  • Enforces standards of accountability for cultivation staff.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment
  • Follow all site Safety requirements including use of PPE. Safety meetings as required
  • Drive improvements to process quality and efficiency.
  • Able to work independently as well as operating as part of a team.
  • Adhere to strict sanitation practices throughout the facility
  • All other tasks, as determined by the Cultivation Manager, to ensure smooth operation of facility.
  • Assigning daily tasks to employees on shift
  • Ensure staff is trained and following appropriate SOPs.
  • Compliance with Pennsylvania Laws and PAMS policies and procedures
  • Ability to perform the following physical tasks: standing, sitting, stretching, bending, twisting, lifting up to 50 pounds regularly
  • Enforces standards of accountability for cultivation staff.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • Must be at least 21 years of age and be able to successfully pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening
  • Superior communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to work independently, with minimal direction at times
  • Ability to solve problems while remaining in compliance with Pennsylvania Marijuana Laws and PAMS policies and procedures
  • Cannabis experience preferred, but not required
  • Prior management experience preferred, but not required
  • Ridder/Synopta Experience required
  • MJ Freeway experience preferred, but not required
