Maintenance Technician

Glenwood Canyon Resort is looking for a Maintenance Technician. Your role is pivotal in ensuring a safe, functional, and aesthetically pleasing camping environment. This position goes beyond traditional maintenance tasks; it involves a proactive approach to campground upkeep, including conducting regular inspections and performing minor repairs on facilities, equipment, and infrastructure. Your responsibilities will include maintaining the pristine condition of outdoor areas, such as trails, picnic spots, and communal spaces, ensuring they are always ready for guest enjoyment.

MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN RESPONSIBILITIES: Maintain park lawn, including weed eating and picking up debris, as well as leaf blowing Site clean up, involving cleaning out fire pits and garbage removal Deliver firewood and fill propane tanks Assist the activities/recreation department when required for event set up and break down Become very familiar with campground layout, sites, lodging units, as well as the rules and regulations at the campground Pressure washing buildings Possess basic electrical and plumbing skills Perform basic regular maintenance tasks such as painting and changing a faucet Ability to lift 75 pounds Perform other duties as needed

QUALIFICATIONS FOR MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN: MUST BE ABLE TO WORK WEEKENDS & HOLIDAYS High school diploma or GED equivalent. Must be able to work outdoors. Must be friendly, courteous, and strive for excellent customer service.

JOB TYPE: FULL TIME SEASONAL

PAY: $15.00 - $18.00 PER HOUR

EXPECTED HOURS: 30-40 HOURS PER WEEK
