Civil Litigation Associate

Job Overview:

We are seeking an attorney with 3-5 years' experience in personal injury litigation and insurance defense to join our legal team.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct legal research and analysis on various cases
  
• Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs
  
• Prepare for and attend court hearings, trials, and depositions
  
• Collaborate with clients to develop case strategies
  
• Negotiate settlements and plea agreements on behalf of clients
  
• Review and analyze legal documents and contracts
• Provide legal advice and guidance to clients
  
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date case files

Skills:

• Strong legal drafting skills
  
• Proficient in legal administrative tasks
  
• Ability to litigate cases effectively in court
  
• Excellent research skills using Lexis-Nexis
  
• Strong negotiation skills
  
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
  
• Admission to the Texas state bar association
  
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in litigation
  
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Salary: $100,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
