Qualifications

A minimum of nine months of experience in maintaining water systems, plus operating a wide variety of equipment.

Special Requirements

Texas Class C driver’s license and driving history acceptable to the City. Possess and maintain Texas Water/Wastewater Certificate, Grade C within two and one half (2.5) years of employment. A CDL, Class B or higher, must be acquired within six (6) months of hire. Must be able to obtain a CDL license with Hazmat endorsement within six (6) months of hire date.

Miscellaneous Information

Monitors, repairs and maintains the City’s water system, and performs other duties as assigned by the Utilities Superintendent and the Director of Community Services, or designee.
