Clearway Solutions, a leading humanitarian services company working in support, is seeking a Case Manager to support our efforts with Migrant and Refugee Shelters across the US. We’re looking for motivated people who care about doing meaningful work to join a growing team.

Job Description

•    Work with refugees/migrants, who are residing in shelter care, to remove barriers to housing, employment and ensuring that they are connected to the means of ongoing support for self and family.

•    The objective of the Case Manager is to ease the transition, empower the client, and put him/her on the path to self-sufficiency.

•    Work with System Navigator on resources for area service providers through mailings, phone inquiries, and person-to-person meetings to provide them with program information and to inquire about available services.

•    Assist in conducting intakes and completing needs assessments.

•    Assist enrolled clients in developing service plans for achieving employment and self-sufficiency.

•    Take clients to initial meetings to assist with connecting to the necessary community resources.

•    Provide ongoing cultural orientation to newly arriving families as part of the adjustment process, with an emphasis on educating them on any benefits, programs, etc. they may qualify for in need areas such as housing, education, employment, medical care, etc.

•    Assist in guiding and acting as client advocate in locating mental health and medical resources, including vaccination within the required deadline.

•    As appropriate, request and client emergency assistance checks.

•    Complete documentation of all meetings with and work related to clients thoroughly and in a timely manner
•    Use appropriate forms and policies as directed by Supervising Case Manager.

•    File all documentation in the appropriate client or program file.

•    Work as part of the program team, and participate in staff meetings, and in-service trainings.

•    Other duties as assigned.

Education Requirement: Undergraduate degree is social services, psychology, social work, etc.

Experience Requirement: Minimum of 1 year of experience relevant to the position and working with families and/or children, and/or other vulnerable populations. Work with refugee or migrant populations strongly preferred; 3 years of experience highly desirable.

Language Requirements: Bilingual in both English and Spanish or Haitian Creole. Ability to fluently read, write, interpret, and translate.

Salary: $30.00/hour

Schedule: TBD based on needs of the operation

Work Location: In person, on-site MUST be local to area with access to reliable transportation means
