Chief, Solid Waste Management Division

Attention transitioning military engineers! Are you looking to launch your post-military career in public works? If so, then the Cecil County, Maryland Department of Public Works has a great opportunity for you. We are currently recruiting for a new Chief, Solid Waste Management Division and think the position would be a great fit for a transitioning O3/O4/O5. Solid waste and public works experience are preferred, but not required. We are looking for someone with leadership and management skills who also has the willingness and ability to learn the technical aspects and grow into the job. Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, environmental science, public administration, business administration or related field. Three years supervisory experience. Possession of a valid non-commercial driver's license with no more than three (3) points.
