Position Summary

The Director of PK-12 Partnerships and Innovation will be responsible for oversight of the School of Inclusive Teacher Education (SITE) field office and field placements. They will also collaborate with faculty and staff to build and strengthen PK-12 school partnerships and support students in these PK-12 field experiences. The managing director will assist the SITE school director in researching current best practices and innovations for accreditation and field practices.

 

 Essential Duties, Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Oversee field office; supervise and support the staff. Oversee University Mentors, including professional development, regional meetings, semester feedback, and review.
  • Support data collection/oversight for professional year eligibility.
  • Build partnerships with placement hosting sites throughout the state, connect with PK-12 liaisons regarding changes and updates, collaborate with PK-12 administrators to strengthen partnerships and explore innovative approaches to pre-service placements and supervision.
  • Support Student Support Teams, including student follow-up.
  • Plan and facilitate student teaching orientation. Review overall student attendance and performance of methods and student teaching after semester-end. Oversee the distribution, data analysis, and data sharing of early field evaluations.
  • Collaborate with School Director, program coordinators, and faculty regarding field policy, field experience descriptions, and placement opportunities. Oversee the purchase, submission, and result-sharing with faculty of the EdTPA.
  • Work with the CAEP coordinator on Standard 2 accreditation report data collection, analysis, and report writing.
  • Collaborate with the School Director to obtain grant funding for partnership and/or field placement opportunities. Research best practices in field coaching and supervision.

Minimum Qualifications:


The following Degree is required:

  • Master’s Degree.  Degree must be conferred at time of application.

 

The following Degree is preferred:

  • Master’s degree in education or associated field

 

The following Experience is required:

  • 2 years of building collaborative teams or advisory groups
  • 2 years supervisory experience

 

The following Experience is preferred:

  • Budgetary experience

 

Salary
Full-time, Administrative staff position available. Administrative Grade Level 357. Salary is commensurate with education and experience. Full benefit package available.
