Job Description Summary:
The Advanced Manufacturing Department for Austin Community College offers a variety of educational solutions designed to meet the upskilling needs of employees in the industry as well as students seeking to begin a career in advanced manufacturing. This position is primarily responsible for workforce training program development, implementation and delivery, data management,
documentation, and reporting of program deliverables. It will help create new programs to meet the department's evolving education options for the industry and coordinate those programs that are currently in place.

Job Description:

Description of Duties and Tasks

1) Oversee, coordinate, implement, and facilitate various workforce training projects, including activities around curriculum development; organize instructional staff, calendars, and timelines; plan and implement all project activities; schedule stakeholder meetings; develop agendas; gather and maintain the integrity of data; and write monthly progress and closeout reports as necessary.
2) Facilitate instructional development including identifying a curriculum plan based on the unique needs of industry partners, industry employees, and students seeking a career in the industry; assist in the identification of qualified instructional staff; order supplies/books; arrange for classroom space and equipment; document class results and evaluations.
3) Coordinate college and outside personnel (including industry partners) involved in training project development and implementation projects; coordinate schedules, instructors, materials, participant documentation, and other project-related requirements.
4) Perform technical, analytical, and related tasks for the collection, interpretation, aggregation, and evaluation of data; incorporate data for training project reporting and management purposes.
5) Leads in the development and writing of monthly and final project reports, including grant-related reporting as necessary.
6) Collaborate with the Advanced Manufacturing Program Manager for all training project management activities.
7) As necessary, assist Advanced Manufacturing Program Manager to develop, write, revise, edit, and submit grant proposals to funding agencies (with focus on Texas Workforce Commission grants) at a quality level that supports the likelihood of award; ensures grant submission criteria are met in grant proposals.

8) As necessary, participates in technical training provided by funding agencies and stays informed of changing grant standards and guidelines.
9) Recruits, hires, and manages instructors and staff for all contract and grant-funded training programs.

* Effectively handling details of multiple projects with varying timelines.
* Ability to work well in a team environment.

Technology Skills

* Use a variety of spreadsheet, word processing, database, and presentation software.

Required Work Experience

* Two years related work experience.

Required Education

* Bachelor's degree.

Preferred Education

* Master's degree.

Other Preferred Qualifications

* Experience working with advanced manufacturing organizations

* Experience coordinating skilled-trades programs in a public or higher education setting preferred.

* Bilingual Spanish/English preferred.

Physical Requirements

* Work is performed in a standard office or similar environment.
* Subject to standing, walking, sitting, bending, reaching, pushing, and pulling.
* Occasional lifting of objects up to 10 pounds.

Salary Range

$55,665 - $69,582
