General - 3 G Agserv,LLC . 45 Temporary full time workers needed in Dallas, IA County area in Iowa. Anticipated period of employment is from August 25, 2019 - September 30, 2019. Corn Hand Harvesting - Hand picking corn, bundling harvest bags, loading dryer boxes, hauling bundles of harvested material from the fields, removal of tassel bags or bins, or other used supplies from the fields, removal of tassel bags, shoots bags, or used supplies from the field. Sorting harvest bundles for shipping to shelling hubs. Laying out harvested material in tubs for selection. Workers will drive tractor in the field, loading wagons by hand in field, hand harvest and spot weeding. The worker in order to perform this kind of work must be able to work outside for at least 6 hours a day in all kinds of weather and be in possession of the requisite strength and endurance, working quickly and skillfully with their hands. Perform prolonged bending, standing, reaching, and lifting Up to 20lbs- 50lbs. Worker must be able to work indoors and outdoors in cold, wet or hot extreme conditions on uneven surfaces. Able to handle physical workload.
Worker must wear long sleeve shirts, long pants, no shorts, hard sole shoes, preferably boots, no tennis shoes. Workers in corresponding employment will be paid the highest AEWR of $13.34 per hour, three- fourths guarantee, 35 hours per week minimum, work tools, equipment and supplies will be provided at no cost to the workers, housing and transportation provided at no cost to workers, including U.S. workers who cannot reasonably return to their permanent residence at the end of each work day, must be 18 years or older. Transportation and subsistence expenses to the work site will be reimbursed upon completion of 50% of the work contract or earlier if appropriate. Workers must have valid identification for I-9 preparation when they report to begin work.
